Artist Bio
Background
Lloyd Willis Smith is a emerging visual artist creating contemporary abstract paintings using acrylic on canvas to convey a free spirited improvisational style with bright colors. His passion for photography conveys more rigid and structure with pictures of landscape, and scenic views.
His creative eye was inspired as a young child when his eldest sister gave him a camera that ignited the potential viewing the world through a lens that supports his imagination and dreams.
Some of his works have been exhibited by invitation from esteemed Rochester metro art curator Jean Geisel for a 2014 gallery showing at the Bausch & Lomb Inc. Company Optics Center. His work has also been displayed at the Rochester Contemporary Art Center, Rochester Central Library Link Gallery as member of the Artist Collaborative.
Medium
I use different mediums. I believe that working in a single medium is restrictive to my artistic process. Each idea manifests in its own individual style. I bring the same passion to web design, graphic design, photography and painting.

Seeing the world through a unfiltered lens using my imagination and creative energy for positive engagement.
